Understanding Pupils with Mindscreen: Insights from Gav Devereux

Innovative SEMH Monitoring for Secondary Pupils

Gav Devereux introduced Mindscreen as a groundbreaking tool designed to assess and support the social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) of secondary school pupils. Through its unique lesson plans and three-stage pupil self-evaluation process, Mindscreen enables educators to gain deep insights into their students’ emotional states and individualities.

Demonstrating Mindscreen’s SEMH Tools Capabilities

The webinar showcased how Mindscreen works, highlighting its simplicity in tracking and analyzing pupils’ emotional responses. Gav provided a step-by-step guide on setting up the Mindscreen Experience® for students, emphasizing its adaptability for supporting either the entire student body or selected individuals.

Flexible Packages for Diverse Needs

Gav discussed Mindscreen’s range of packages, offering solutions tailored to different school budgets and needs, with prices ranging from £9 to £20 per student. Although the free 4-user licence was a special offer for live attendees, the demonstration underscored Mindscreen’s value in enhancing SEMH support across educational settings.

Future Collaborations and Learning Opportunities

The session concluded with an announcement of future webinars and continued collaboration with Gav. Participants were encouraged to stay connected through the Eventbrite channel for updates on upcoming sessions aimed at further exploring SEMH support strategies.

Drawing from his personal journey overcoming dyslexia and low self-esteem, Gav Devereux’s passion for helping children believe in themselves and pursue their dreams was evident throughout the webinar. The Mindscreen experience®, born from Gav’s desire to make a positive impact, serves as a testament to the power of resilience and transformation.
